Role:
The Financial Data Sales Representative will drive institutional sales by building strong relationships by providing the highest level of service to maximize client satisfaction and grow existing and new business.
We are seeking an ambitious, motivated, and deal-driven individual to work in our Hong Kong Buyside sales team. Hong Kong is a strong, developed market with an appetite for sophisticated analytical tools, providing excellent growth opportunities on the buy-side and sell-side. The successful candidate will be expected to exceed an annual goal by expanding our footprint in our existing accounts while organizing strategies for client retention.
This includes negotiating annual contract terms and emphasizing long term relationships. It also means echoing a consistent message of partnering across teams to explore new and creative ways we can service our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to drive sales where growth exists, and at the same time solidify our client base.
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for maintaining and developing a book of business, defining a strategy for each client with measurable objectives
Execute strategic and tactical growth plans with tenacity, increasing net income at each account, with an organized approach properly documented in Salesforce
Gain complete knowledge of assigned accounts and all product offerings. Expand working knowledge of the financial industry, various client workflows and our value proposition versus industry competitors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business to drive engagement and partnership
Work closely with Specialty Sales and Client Service to maximize client satisfaction and retention
Allocate time effectively between uncovering new revenue-generating opportunities, upselling, and account management. Manage the sales process from lead generation to demonstration to close
Maintain collaborative and highly communicative relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders and establish yourself internally as a positive and productive front-line leader
Requirements:
Demonstrated history of exceeding goals and a high level of activity
3-to-4 years experiences in a client facing role, experiences in Sales is preferred
Strong analytical skills and buy-side product knowledge
Demonstrate an understanding in the Sales cycle
Proactive and a sense of initiative
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to interact effectively with senior-level client contacts
Ability to work independently, as a team member, and as a leader
