Responsibilities
(A) Promotion of Banking Products and Services
Acquire and solicit new bancassurance business through cross selling, referral from branch sales and customer centre, conversion from existing bank customer and potential card base, personal business connections, etc.
Identify the financial needs of the existing/prospective customers through discreet financial needs analysis/planning, and cross sell suitable bancassurance products to the customers.
Senior Financial Planning Manager/ Financial Planning Manager should work independently to follow-up on case, make appointment and to close deal
Introduce the products and their associated risks, if any, to the customers.
Assist to serve as a feedback channel on all issues pertaining to marketing, product acceptance and other issues relating to the sales of insurance products in branch.
Keep abreast of the latest product/market knowledge to exhibit high level of functional competencies and professionalism when interacting with customers.
(B) Customer Experience Management
Provide superior service to customers in accordance with the Bank's required service standards.
Process and follow through customer requests and enquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
(C) Audit and Compliance Control
Assist BM and frontline sales staff to ensure full compliance with both external regulatory codes/ordinance & internal compliance policies, standards, guidelines & procedures, particularly those applicable to the course of selling, i.e. sales staff's licensing and fitness & properness, KYC, FNA, anti-money laundering & documentation completeness in a/c opening & in each deal.
Improve control and compliance quality on bancassurance selling (i.e. need-based) and operation through leadership, education, on-going monitoring & effective remedial actions.
Assist branch to investigate and handle bancassurance complaint in accordance with the regulatory requirements and the Bank's escalation procedures.
Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.
Requirements
At least 3 year's relevant insurance sales experience with excellent track records
Diploma/Degree in Business/Finance from a reputable institution
Preferably registered RI [ Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4] with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent; and
Must be registered TR [General* & Long Term (incl. linked long term)] with passes in IIQE papers 1, 2*, 3 & 5; or equivalent.
[*New staff who does not possess the required general insurance qualification is required to pass the IIQE Paper 2 within three months after the commencement of service.]
Preferably be registered CI - CRWP (ECF-RWM)
Fluent in Mandarin and English are required.
