Job Description - Financial Risk Director (Qualified Actuary), Insurance

Your new company

A reinsurer is seeking a financial risk management professional to oversee ALM and ERM framework.

Your new role

Lead and enhance group-wide ALM strategy, risk analytics and reporting.
Drive ERM activities for Life & Health, including exposure assessment, risk limits and capital modelling.
Oversee development of the Economic Capital Model and stochastic modelling frameworks.
Support regulatory capital, rating submissions, ORSA, stress testing and scenario analysis.
Strengthen internal controls related to ALM, investments and insurance risks.
Prepare high-quality materials for senior management, committees and Board meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified life actuary (FSA / FIA / FIAA).
12+ years of actuarial, risk, or insurance financial experience.
Experience with capital modelling tools or stochastic modelling is advantageous.
Coding knowledge (R, Python, SQL) preferred and a strong understanding of regulatory capital frameworks (e.g., RBC, Solvency II).
Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
