Job Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of fintech initiatives, including cloud-based systems, digital currency solutions, and cross-border distributed ledger connectivity
Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements, translating them into scalable technical solutions
Support system deployment activities using scripting tools; perform testing, debugging, documentation, and ongoing implementation tasks
Assist in managing project scope, timelines, costs, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery within budget and schedule
Coordinate with vendors to ensure deliverables align with project objectives and timelines
Prepare project status reports by collecting and analysing relevant data and metrics
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve overall project and organisational goals

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum 8 years of experience in system development), preferably within the financial services sector
Experience in cloud infrastructure setup and/or application deployment
Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Terraform, Ansible, Nginx, API integration (RESTful/SOAP), and databases (e.g., MySQL)
Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger or Ethereum), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices (cloud or on-premises), Docker, Kubernetes, and encryption technologies (SSL/TLS, symmetric/asymmetric cryptography) is advantageous
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms is a strong plus
Good technical documentation and writing skills
Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
