Floor Staff - Assistant Manager / Supervisor (Bar Outlet)

The Opposites, a new bar venture from World Class champions Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok, is set to shake up Hong Kong's cocktail scene when it opens in Central this summer. These two mixology heavyweights, who've spent over a decade working together at establishments like Quinary, are teaming up again to showcase their contrasting styles and philosophies.

Responsibilities:

To Assist the General Manager in overseeing the floor operation in a bar including but not limited to :

• Consistently strives to exceed guest expectations and provide the highest level of service.
• Build and maintain healthy business relations with clients ensuring high customer satisfaction; establish systems/ procedures thereby contributing in a major way towards growth and profitability levels.
• Liaise closely with the chef and bar team.
• Place orders and maintain inventory of stocks at the bar; and ensure that the department complies with all company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Handle the daily sales and cash report as well as POS closing.
• Assist the Event Manager on event operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in lounge/bar industry. Lesser experience will be considered as Supervisor.
• Good courteous and remarkable team player with excellent interpersonal skills, professional etiquette, and a passion for ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Fluent speaking in English and Cantonese.
• Hong Kong resident only.
• Able to take late night shift till 2:30 am.
