Lead actuarial and financial reporting activities across IFRS 17 reporting cycles, management reporting, forecasting, and business performance analysis while collaborating closely with finance and actuarial stakeholders.
Review and assess IFRS reporting submissions, highlighting key variances and technical matters
Partner with Group Finance, Actuarial teams, and business units to address issues and ensure alignment
Manage end-to-end reporting cycles, including quarterly, half-year, annual reporting, forecasts, and multi-year plans
Consolidate financial results and prepare timely, accurate management reports
Deliver reliable financial insights to support senior management decision-making
Enhance reporting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency
Support initiatives to optimise financial outcomes and standardise methodologies across business units
Assist in performance assessments, including business unit evaluations and analysis
Candidate profile:
Bring extensive actuarial and financial reporting experience with strong IFRS 17 expertise, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to deliver accurate insights within fast-paced financial services environments.
Degree holder with a recognised actuarial qualification, with at least 8 years of experience in actuarial or financial reporting roles
Candidates from professional consulting firms are welcome to apply
Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and financial reporting frameworks is a plus
Well-organised with the ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Familiar with systems such as OneStream, Oracle, Hyperion or Anaplan preferred
