Job Description - Front Office Java Developer

Responsibilities

:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications for our cash equities trading platform.

Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Optimize existing codebase and enhance system performance to ensure smooth and efficient trading operations.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of the trading platform.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the technology stack and development processes.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues on time.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree inputer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Strong proficiency in Java programming and experience in developing enterprise-level applications.

Solid understanding of cash equities trading concepts and market dynamics.

Familiarity with low-latency trading systems and algorithmic trading strategies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strongmunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

Experience with electronic trading platforms and FIX protocol.

Knowledge of financial modeling and quantitative analysis.

Familiarity with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

Certification in relevant technologies or financial industry qualifications.

Previous experience in an investment bank or financial services firm.

Participation in open-source projects or techmunities. .
