Our client is a fruit marketer. They are looking for a Fruit Quality Assessor to join their team.

Responsibilities: 1. Inspection and Quality Assessment:
• Conduct inspections of incoming fruit containers at customers’ warehouse for quality, size, ripeness, and potential defects.
• Use tools and equipment to measure and record specific quality attributes (e.g., firmness, sugar level).
• Assist customers on sorting and grading fruits according to established quality standards and guidelines.
2. Warehouse Coolchain monitoring
• Monitor temperature at customers’ warehouse.
• Stay updated and communicate company standards, guidelines, and best practices to customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
3. In-store quality assessment project
• Conduct visual quality inspection of fruit in Hong Kong market.
• Visit key channels for overall quality observation in supermarket chain.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Accurately document inspection results digitally.
• Communicate findings to the Supply Chain and Sales team
• Maintain organized records of inspections and assessments for audit purposes.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Sales and shipping team to address quality issues.
• Provide feedback on quality standards and inspection techniques.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints related to fruit quality. Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in agriculture, food science, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality control or a similar role in the food industry, supermarket or related industry

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in MS Office application (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

• Self-motivated and work independently

• Fresh graduates are welcome
