Full-Time Laboratory Technician For Physics

The French
International School in Hong Kong is recruiting for a Senior Laboratory
Technician to work from September 2025.

 This position
will assist teachers for physics experiments in Secondary school for all levels
– French, IGCSE and IB curriculum:

•  Prepare
  experiments completely, properly and deliver on time in Physics 
  
• Support
  the work of teachers and students in Physics
  
• Follow
  the complicate and tight schedule of different classes’ experiment like moving
  trolleys and other apparatus to correct laboratories
  
• Disinfect
  laboratories and apparatus after some Physics experiments
  
• Assign
  the daily job duties to other laboratory technicians including experiments and
  shopping schedules 
  
• Prepare
  purchase orders for Physics Department
  
• Provide
  safety material and safety environment during experiment
  
• Waste
  treatment and disposal
  
• Maintain
  physics lab equipment
  
• Be
  able to prepare all the materials
  
• Other
  tasks as directed by the Physics Teachers (French and International
  Stream). 
  

Requirements

• Fluency in English     
  
• Holders of certificate for laboratory
  technicians preferred
  
• Experience gained in school or private
  laboratories
  
• Interpersonal skills including tact, patience,
  and courtesy
  
• Ability to work collaboratively and closely with a team of teachers and laboratory technicians (in chemistry and biology)
  
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and general
  computer literacy
