Fund Accountant

My client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Fund Accountant. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day fund accounting for India-related legal entities. This role primarily covers fund accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting, working closely with Finance, Operations, and global stakeholders.

1. Oversee fund accounting for India-based entities, including trading-related operations
2. Review management accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
3. Prepare and review corporate tax returns, including GST and TDS filings
4. Manage regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements

1. Location: role can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore
2. 3+ years of experience in fund accounting; ideally progressing towards or holding a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
3. Big 4 audit experience is an advantage
4. Minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM, Accounting, Finance, or Economics discipline, with strong academic performance
5. Experience managing India entities, including tax compliance such as GST, TDS, and corporate income tax
6. Investment management experience is preferred; fund administration experience is also considered relevant
