About Our Client

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our PE Client in Hong Kong. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance.

Job Description

As a Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports for the fund.
Managing fund accounting processes, including reconciliations and audits.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
Collaborating with internal teams to support financial planning and analysis.
Monitoring fund performance and ensuring accurate valuation of assets.
Responding to investor inquiries and providing financial data as needed.
Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience in fund accounting, preferably within the private equity business is a must
1-2 years of experience is a must
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
