Job Description - Fundamental Analyst | Global Multi Strategy Fund

Overview:
A global multi strategy hedge fund is seeking an experienced Asia Equities Investor to join its semi-systematic team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on Hong Kong and Greater China mega-cap equities, combining systematic insights with discretionary decision-making in a low-turnover environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on Hong Kong and Greater China mega-cap equities.
Identify and execute catalyst-driven trading opportunities across sectors such as TMT, Consumer, Commodities, or Macro.
Implement strategies with holding periods ranging from intraday to up to three months.
Collaborate with research and data teams to enhance idea generation and execution efficiency.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Asia equity research.
Deep sector expertise in one or more areas: TMT, Consumer, Commodities, or Macro.
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify catalysts impacting price movements.
Familiarity with semi-systematic or quantitative-driven investment processes is advantageous.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
