Fundraising Specialist

The
French International School – Hong Kong (FIS) is looking for a full-time, highly
organised and competent Fundraising Specialist.

The Fundraising
Specialist will be reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications
and will be instrumental in
developing relationships that result in charitable contributions from the
school.  He/She will work
closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to raise money
and other kinds of donations. He/She will also be involved in the planning,
execution, follow up, and coordination of a wide range of fundraising related
activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize and execute all aspects of a
  year-long annual giving initiative including identification, cultivation,
  solicitation, and stewardship of all parents, alumni, faculty, staff and
  other individual Annual Fund donors and prospective donors
  
• Strategizing with the Director of
  Marketing and Communications on fundraising initiatives
  
• In charge of cultivating individual
  and corporate donors and tracking progress
  
• Coordinating fundraising events
  including large scale events, such as gala dinners, charity auctions, and
  charity sporting events
  
• Day to day maintenance and
  organization of a centralized CRM system that tracks corporate and
  individual donors
  
• Preparation and distribution of annual
  donation receipts and thank you letters
  
• Preparation of Gift accountability
  reporting
  
• Other tasks relating to fundraising as
  assigned at the discretion of leadership
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  
• An ability to influence and persuade
  others
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication
  skills
  
• An understanding of fundraising best
  practices and relationship building
  
• Positive attitude and proactive
  
• Fully Bilingual in French and English
  (both spoken and written)
  

Benefits
