Funds Paralegal - US Law Firm

Investment Funds practice for a leading US law firm is seeking a Paralegal who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced growing practice. The practice focuses on advising a range of international sponsors and investors in the structuring, formation, and offering of private investment funds, including private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds, co-investment vehicles, and other alternative investment products.

Job Description

• Assist the funds team with the set up and formation of funds
• Draft and prepare legal documentation (i.e., transaction bibles, articles of incorporation, resolutions, agreements, correspondence, closing sets etc.)
• Handle internal filing of records of fund documents
• Liaise with various parties e.g., professional bodies and counsels from different jurisdictions
• Assist in due diligence and legal research

Experience and Skills

• 1-4 years of experience gained within a reputable regional or international law firm doing funds work
• Excellent language skills, including written and spoken English, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin, are essential
• Candidates with US JD/ LLM preferred
