FX and Rates Trader

We are looking for an experienced Rates and FX Trader to join our Hong Kong desk. The successful candidate will focus on trading CNH and HKD products, with additional responsibility for managing EM rates trading books. This role requires deep expertise in interest rate swaps (IRS), cross-currency swaps (CCS), and strong risk management capabilities.

• Execute and manage trading positions in CNH and HKD across FX spot, forwards, and interest rate products.
• Trade and manage EM rates books, including local currency bonds and derivatives.
• Structure and execute interest rate swaps (IRS) and cross-currency swaps (CCS) to optimize risk and P&L.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends, liquidity conditions, and regulatory developments to identify trading opportunities.
• Provide pricing and liquidity for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, structuring, and research teams to develop and implement trading strategies.
• Maintain accurate trade records and contribute to daily P&L reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Rates and FX trading, with a focus on CNH and HKD markets.
• Proven experience managing EM rates trading books.
• Strong knowledge of interest rate swaps (IRS) and cross-currency swaps (CCS).
• Familiarity with Asian fixed income and FX markets, including regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and trading systems; advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
