Global Investment Banking - Syndicated Leveraged Finance - Analyst, Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities

• You will work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank. Senior bankers will get to know you — both as a person and as a valued member of a winning team.

• You will support the execution of the firm’s Syndicated loan and leveraged finance origination and execution capabilities, helping to build J.P. Morgan’s franchise and reputation in the marketplace.
• Your job will be spanning across both origination and syndication. 
• You will assist in preparing marketing materials and analyses (e.g., pitchbooks, internal transaction memo, lender presentation and information memorandum), conduct market, comparable and liquidity analysis, and support the transaction process from origination through execution.
• You will develop strong functional skills across key areas of investment banking, with a focus on debt financing solutions, and grow into a trusted client-facing professional capable of supporting and ultimately leading transaction execution.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• Prior 0.5-2 years' work experience in syndicated loans, leveraged finance, and/or investment banking front office required; elite candidates from big 4 accounting firms will also be considered; 
• Strong attention to detail and solid financial modeling skills.
• Strong accounting, finance, analytical, quantitative, credit analysis  and business writing skills.
• A well-rounded academic background.
• Understands the transaction cycle and key steps in the process; execution-oriented.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders across lines of business.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
• Proficient with market data and deal execution tools, including Bloomberg, Loanconnector, and Dealogic 
• Proficient in Mandarin is required; Cantonese will be a big plus.
