Global Technology Portfolio Manager

Excellent opportunity for an experienced portfolio manager to lead and scale a technology-focused investment strategy across public equity markets. The role will sit in Hong Kong with global coverage, managing capital across developed and emerging markets.

This is a high-impact, alpha-driven role with full accountability for portfolio construction, risk management and performance delivery, suited for candidates with a demonstrable long-term track record in technology investing across market cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage a global technology equity portfolio
• Develop and execute bottom‑up fundamental investment strategies across the global technology universe
• Generate high‑conviction long and/or long‑short investment ideas across subsectors including Semiconductors, AI / Data / Cloud Infrastructure, Hardware, Devices & Supply Chain
• Conduct deep fundamental research including financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis
• Identify secular trends, technology cycles and inflection points across global markets
• Engage with company management, industry experts and sell‑side analysts to inform investment views
• Incorporate macro, policy, and geopolitical insights relevant to global tech investing
• Review performance attribution and refine investment processes continuously

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing global technology equity portfolios (long‑only or long/short)
• Deep expertise in global technology sectors and business models
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction and risk analytics
• Demonstrable history of consistent alpha generation with disciplined risk management
• High intellectual curiosity, strong business judgment, and passion for investing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin
