Government project------- Data center operator (5 days work)

We are seeking a data center operator in our government Project.

Job Description:

1. To provide IT support for the site preparation works and implementation of IT Infrastructure
2. Perform 24 x 7 shift duties in data centres;
3. Operate data center facilities, monitor their performance, troubleshoot issues, and take corrective or recovery actions;
4. Assist in handling Helpdesk activities, including problem reporting, incident handling, and message dissemination.
5. Perform access control for visitors of data centre by verifying their authorization in the access control system;
6. Monitor the physical security in data centre by means of digital video recording system and perform routine physical security checking and take corrective or preventive actions as appropriate;
7. Monitor the availability and performance of environmental facilities in data centre and take corrective or preventive actions as appropriate in accordance with incident and problem management procedures;
8. Prepare data centre facilities maintenance schedule; monitor progress; take rectifying/recovery action in case of exception;

Job Requirements

• Solid knowledge and experience in site preparation in multiple data centres.
• at least two years working experience in server room operations
• Good communication in Cantonese and English
