We are headquartered in Hong Kong with operations and representation in Australia, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Netherlands & UK. We operate a factory based in Cambridgeshire UK and seek a Production Manager to support us in our next phase of growth.

About the Role

Based in Hong Kong, our ideal candidate will lead our finance function, supporting global operations and empowering executive decision-making with accurate, timely reporting. This role requires expertise in all aspects of commercial finance—treasury management, financial controls, compliance, and strategic leadership—to drive Vanden’s continued growth and profitability. You’ll lead a high-performing finance team, foster efficiency in global reporting, and deliver insights that guide our strategic vision.

What You'll Do:

• Global Finance Leadership: Oversee finance functions in collaboration with teams in the UK, Australia, and beyond, ensuring all reporting and compliance requirements are met.


• Performance and Profitability: Analyze and report on financial performance, supporting commercial decision-making to enhance growth.


• Strategic Cashflow Management: Manage multi-currency cashflow in a growth environment, forecasting needs and exploring new funding opportunities.


• Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor the Hong Kong finance and business analytics staff, building commercial acumen, retaining top talent, and fostering career growth.


• Drive Continuous Improvement: Focus on operational excellence, enhance ERP functionalities, and ensure best practices in financial controls.


• Influence Key Decisions: Serve as a trusted business partner, offering strategic financial insights to support executive planning, investments, and business growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications & Experience: Fully qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5-10 years in a commercial environment, preferably in a global business.


• Skills & Expertise: Strong background in IFRS standards, tax compliance, and treasury management. Advanced ERP (SAP preferred) and Excel skills.


• Leadership Mindset: Proven track record of leading local and global finance teams, upholding rigorous standards, and driving high-performance culture.


• Commercial Insight: Ability to challenge the status quo, simplify complex issues, and proactively solve problems.


• Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Chinese, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
