Group IT Manager / Assistant Group IT Manager

Founded in 2004, GR8 Leisure Concept is an innovative hospitality group that owns and manages a portfolio of seven brands, consisting of hotels, restaurants, and bars across Hong Kong and China. The Luxe Manor, a surrealism-inspired boutique hotel located in Tsim Sha Tsui. The property is home to the city’s authentic Nordic restaurant, FINDS and Dada Bar + Lounge, a contemporary variety club creatively reminiscent of the elusive Dada art movement. Also in Hong Kong is the group’s charming beachside café, Cafe Roma, which boasts a premium spot by Tung Wan Beach in Ma Wan. Hotel Soul is the group’s second hotel venture located in Suzhou, China. The hotel features continental restaurant Brasserie 101, and the hotel’s latest concept, Bar Soul, which brings a unique blend of retro and industrial elements to Hotel Soul.

Responsibilities:

• Take accountability for the stability and improvement of day-to-day IT production quality for group business units
• Oversee the management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and security systems
• Prepare and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective technology investments.
• Build and maintain professional and positive relationships with business stakeholders
• Perform ad hoc assignments when required
• Occasional China trips when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in IT or related disciplines
• At least 10 years solid experience preferable in hotel industry, with 5+ years at a Department Head level
• Familiarity with IT systems and infrastructure, software licensing, hardware procurement, and cloud services
• Analytical mind, well-organized, mature, dedicated and able to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Group Assistant IT Manager
