Growth Risk Data Lead

Conduct data analysis and mining within risk control domains to identify fraud patterns, extract meaningful features, and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.

Design end-to-end anti-fraud solutions, including strategy frameworks and machine learning models that are practical, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Collaborate closely with data engineers, AI engineers, and backend developers to implement and deliver risk strategies and models as scalable services.

Establish standardized processes for risk control projects, covering data labeling, feature engineering, model/strategy evaluation, and performance monitoring.

Define success metrics, design and run A/B tests to evaluate performance, and build monitoring systems for ongoing tracking and anomaly detection.

Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies; lead research and experimentation to apply advanced techniques to real-world challenges in the crypto space.

Solid foundation in risk analysis and strategy design, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a risk strategist, data scientist, data analyst, or product manager in the risk control or anti-fraud domain.

Proven experience designing and building risk control products and strategies within crypto, financial services, or broader tech industries.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and limited resources; able to navigate ambiguity and effectively advocate for what’s needed.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

High level of technical proficiency, able to understand product and system architecture, engage with engineers at a detailed level, and contribute to scalable and extensible solution design.

Data-driven mindset: experienced in defining, tracking, and acting on impact metrics; skilled in identifying KPIs and partnering with engineering and analytics teams on instrumentation and monitoring.

Extensive experience in collaborating across functions to deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
