Head of Asset Management

The Head of Asset Management will be responsible for leading and executing the asset management strategy in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role entails overseeing fund management, developing business plans, and ensuring effective compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate departmental business development plans, annual operating plans, and financial budgets, and organize their implementation while utilizing resources effectively to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and implement departmental regulations, management methods, and workflows.
• Oversee fund management operations, including the creation, issuance, and management of various fund products based on market trends and client needs. Conduct daily investment research, trade management, compliance, risk control, and post-investment management.
• Develop tailored investment strategies for individual and institutional clients based on their backgrounds, financial conditions, risk tolerance, and investment goals. Regularly review and adjust investment strategies.
• Provide offshore investment advisory services for individuals, enterprises, third-party fund managers, and QDII products. Offer comprehensive solutions for private fund establishment, assisting with transactions, custody, clearing, valuation, and risk management. Provide investment proposals, organize roadshows, and assist in attracting investors.
• Expand sales channels, including institutional clients (public funds, insurance, asset management, investment companies) and individual professional investors. Organize marketing activities and implement strategies to promote the company's asset management brand while maintaining client relationships.
• Establish and maintain a compliance and risk management framework for asset management operations, ensuring adherence to daily compliance and risk management practices.
• Oversee team building, organizational structure development, and comprehensive management within the department.
• Coordinate with other units within the group to ensure alignment and execution of all related departmental tasks. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by company leadership.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in asset management, fund management, and investment strategies.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is preferred.
