Head of Business Operations (Financial Services Solutions)

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a high-performing team of Functional Consultants in Asia
• Lead pre-sales support, customer service and troubleshooting efforts
• Oversee new-client migrations and product implementations
• Define, test and roll out new features and functionality
• Hire, onboard and train junior team members
• Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure consistency and success globally

Desired Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, with a strong accounting focus
• Minimum seven years’ experience at a leading global fund administrator, including “super-user” proficiency with major portfolio-management software
• Proven track record transitioning from an operational to a consulting role
• At least three years of people-management experience within fund administration
• Deep functional expertise in migrations, troubleshooting, customer support, feature definition and testing
• Experience contributing to or leading technical presentations during client-facing sales processes
• Background across one or more domains such as Investment Management, Wealth Management, Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments, Portfolio Accounting or Investment Operations
• Demonstrated success managing complex implementations and post-implementation support, with solid project-management and business-analysis skills
• Broad understanding of financial instruments, with preferred exposure to private equity
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting sophisticated software concepts to senior executive audiences in English (additional languages a plus)
