Job Description
As a Head of Corporate Development, your main responsibilities will include:
Lead end-to-end fundraising strategy including equity, debt, and hybrid financing solutions
Identify, evaluate, and execute capital-raising opportunities with institutional investors, banks, and strategic partners
Develop and maintain relationships with investors, private equity firms, venture capital, and financial institutions
Oversee preparation of investor materials (pitch decks, financial models, IMs, due diligence packs)
Structure and negotiate financing terms, including valuation, covenants, and capital structure optimization
Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, finance, and external advisors
Drive corporate finance initiatives including capital allocation, liquidity planning, and balance sheet management
Support M&A activities and strategic investments as part of broader capital strategy
Partner with senior leadership to align fundraising strategy with corporate growth plans
Monitor market conditions and provide insights on funding timing, structure, and risk
Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements related to fundraising activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Corporate Development should have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or corporate development
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and capital structuring expertise
Deep understanding of capital markets, investor landscape, and financing instruments
Experience managing complex negotiations with investors and financial institutions
Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate business plans into financial strategies
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
High level of commercial acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
