Job Description - Head of Data Management - Top Tier Chinese Bank - HKD 100000 plus

Your new company

Your new company is one of the largest Chinese banking groups, widely recognised for its stability, strong market reputation and continuous investment in digital transformation.

Your new role

You will oversee the bank's data strategy, governance framework and management information systems.
You will drive the enhancement of data quality, availability and reliability across the organisation.
You will lead the development and delivery of data products, analytics solutions and reporting frameworks.
You will partner with business and operations units to embed data as a strategic asset.
You will identify new data sources and opportunities to generate business value through insights.
You will expand analytical capabilities, research emerging technologies and support digital innovation.
You will manage sourcing of external data to ensure quality, usability and cost efficiency.
You will oversee statutory, management and forecasting reports for internal and head office requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree or above
At least 10 years' experience in data analytics, data management or related areas within banking/financial services
Strong technical understanding of data governance, analytics frameworks and regulatory requirements
Broad knowledge of banking products, operations and business processes
Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English
