Job Description - Head of FI Sales, JANA

JANA Head of FI Sales

Direct reporting to: Head of F inancial Institutions & Correspondent Banking

As the" Head of FI Sales, covering the JANA cluster, you will drive strategic growth and development of a critical global business within Services . This end-to-end leadership role encompasses defining segment strategy and optimizing country performance for the Financial Institutions (FIs) segment . You will be responsible for delivering integrated solutions, including Payments, Receivables, Commercial Cards, Trade, and other Cash Management solutions, with a significant focus on liquidity.

Clients will include Insurance companies, Asset Managers, FinTech firms, Payment Intermediaries, Banks, and Broker-Dealers .

This role will facilitate a deep understanding of global payment flows, clearing mechanisms, foreign exchange markets, trade flows, and the broader Services solution s e t .

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and empower the JANA Sales team to achieve Cluster revenue and return targets, driving sales origination, revenue realization, and client retention in partnership with Corporate Bank FIG and product partners.


  • Execute the global FI- Services strategy within the JANA Cluster , prioritizing key objectives for maximum impact.


  • Achieve revenue and wallet share growth by meticulously executing account plans for strategic client segments (Acquire/Double Down/Defend).


  • Collaborate with Global Segment leads to develop and implement comprehensive marketing and product strategies that increase market share and deepen client penetration.


  • Implement robust sales management processes, leveraging key metrics and sales tools such as CRM, Sales Dashboards, and CSIP/ C@R.


  • Partner with Global Segment leads and Cluster product teams to ensure competitive product offerings in terms of service, functionality, and pricing.


  • Align annual financial plans with product partners, linking them directly to key drivers and client opportunities.



  • Drive continuous improvement in client experience (CX) by managing Voice of Customer ( VoC ) results and collaborating with the Global Client Success Head on Cluster initiatives.


  • Proactively monitor and manage client portfolio risk and compliance , including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and trade credit, ensuring timely escalation of issues ; chair Cluster CBOC/PIOC meetings.


Expected Outcomes (First 12 Months)


  • Achieve Cluster revenue targets and position the business for sustained YoY growth and top tier market position.


Qualifications


  • Extensive and progressive experience in senior sales or product leadership roles, specifically within Financial Institutions.


  • De ep knowledge of Cash Management & Trade products and e xtensive experience managing and growing relationships with Financial Institution clients.


  • Ability to establish and maintain senior client relationships


  • Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment.



  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, influence, develop high-performing teams and deliver results .


  • Excellent collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and a p roven ability to navigate and thrive within a complex, matrixed organizational environment.
