Job Description

As the Head of Internal Control, your main responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing an effective internal control framework for the organization.
Monitoring and evaluating the adequacy of internal controls and recommending improvements.
Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential areas of vulnerability.
Leading internal audits and ensuring timely follow-up on audit recommendations.
Providing guidance and training to staff on internal control policies and procedures.
Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior management.
Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices in financial services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Internal Control should have:

Strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven expertise in internal control and risk management practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead teams and collaborate with different departments.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in accounting and finance.
