Head of Regulatory Compliance (Sizable Corporation Bank)

This organisation is a well-established licensed bank with a strong presence across the Asia region. Known for its robust governance culture and long-term commitment to regulatory excellence, the institution is seeking a seasoned compliance executive to head its regulatory compliance function and provide strategic oversight across the region.

As the Head of Regulatory Compliance, you will lead the development, execution, and continuous enhancement of the bank's regulatory compliance framework. Your key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing regulatory interpretation, advisory, and regulatory gap assessments across the bank.
• Acting as the main point of contact for regulators and leading regulatory inspections.
• Establishing regulatory compliance policies, governance standards, and control frameworks.
• Providing strategic guidance to senior management and the Board on regulatory obligations and emerging regulatory risks.
• Leading compliance teams, driving culture, and ensuring consistent implementation across business units.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and advising on the impact to business strategy, operations, and new initiatives.

• Minimum 12-15 years' experience in regulatory compliance within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations across Hong Kong and the broader Asia region.
• Proven experience leading compliance teams and managing senior stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with regulators and oversee regulatory examinations.
• Strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills
