Head of Service (4-month Maternity Cover)

Job Description:

• Report to the Council
• Provide leadership to the team of Counsellors
• Ensure the quality of the professional services provided
• Manage individual counsellors to ensure proper supervision is enforced and proper client records are in place
• Secretary to the Professional Service Committee
• Monitor sponsored programme implementation
• Work with the Senior Project Officer on progress reports, financial reports, social media marketing, and website revamp
• Support the outreach of potential service users and funding organizations
• Deliver counselling services, workshops, public presentations, and outreach services
• Support the relationship management with funders, HKCSS and other relevant social service providers/partners, NGO’s and Charities

Requirements:

• Recognized university degree in health care, social service or equivalent
• 8+ years relevant working experiences
• Strong leadership with good communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in NGO/ charities will be a plus
