Job Description - Head of Trust Services - Family Governance

The Company

A well-capitalized wealth management platform is seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead and grow their trust business, with a strong emphasis on serving UHNW clients. This role will oversee trust structuring, family governance and wealth solutions, while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements set by regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities
Leadership & Compliance

Lead and manage the trust administration team to deliver high-quality client service
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements governing trust administration
Mentor and develop team members to support professional growth

Client Advisory & Solutions

Design and implement bespoke trust structures for asset protection and succession planning
Develop family governance frameworks to facilitate multi-generational wealth transfer
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client experience and operational efficiency

Business Development

Define and execute the strategic growth plan for trust services
Identify and onboard new UHNW client relationships
Expand the Group's market share in wealth structuring solutions

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of solid experience in trust administration, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong expertise in trust set-up and day-to-day administrative operations
Degree in Law or related discipline; professional qualifications such as TEP or HKCGI Chartered membership are highly regarded
Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with UHNW clients and senior stakeholders
Client-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capability
Fluency in English, Chinese, and Mandarin is essential
Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
