We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join us as an HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor  to join our Greater China Human Resources team based in our Hong Kong office.

In this role, you will be working in a close-knit and supportive HR team, and acting as a first point of contact for key stakeholders within designated client groups in relation to complex HR issues. You will provide expert guidance and support in relation to a range of employee issues including performance and capability procedures. In this critical role, your other key responsibilities will include:

  • Effective management of designated portfolios through business partnering, performance management, case management, HR advice, mobility coordination, D&I stream support and staff movement management;

  • Provide Partners, Managers and employees with general HR policy advice, guidance and administration;

  • Support HRM cyclical events such as the performance management process, promotions process, remuneration review, talent review, budgeting processes;

  • Provide support across the region to development and deploy HR regional/global initiatives and projects across various designated portfolios;

  • Joint management of HR Administrative Assistants.

  • To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources/related discipline or equivalent experience;

  • 3-7 years' experience HR experience gained from international law firms/professional services industry;

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills;

  • Comfortable operating autonomously on an agreed plan;

  • Confident interacting with people at all levels of the organisation;

  • Experience managing multiple clients and multiple stakeholders;

  • Networks and builds positive and genuine working relationships internally and externally;

  • Strong client services focus, whilst maintaining confidentiality;

  • Strong team ethic, able to work collaboratively in a team;

  • Effective planning, scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills;

  • Ability to understand new concepts quickly and put learning into action.
