Job Description - HR Business Partner - Investment Management

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

Partner with business leaders and line managers on employee lifecycle matters, including talent management, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
Provide practical HR advice and guidance on employee relations, people issues, and organizational effectiveness.
Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and align HR strategies accordingly.

Talent Acquisition & Talent Management

Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Support onboarding and integration of new hires.
Drive performance management cycles and talent review processes.
Assist in identifying and developing high-potential employees.

Employee Engagement & Culture

Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Organize employee communication, wellness, and retention programs.
Act as a key point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
5-8 years of HR experience, ideally within an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist capacity.
Open to candidates from all industries, including financial services, professional services, technology, retail, healthcare, or multinational corporations.
Strong understanding of core HR functions, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience supporting regional populations would be advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS platforms.
Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin is highly preferred.
