If you are interested in developing a career in the Human Resources field, this is an opportunity to join the Human Resources team of the French International School – Hong Kong, one of the most established and oldest International schools in Hong Kong with four campuses across the city.
You will join our talented and collaborative team by delivering effective and efficient support on recruitment processes, HR administration and development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for staff queries; providing operational and HR support (face-toface and in writing)
- Carry out the recruitment process for the French Stream Teachers and Educational Support Staff (drafting job descriptions, screening CVs, scheduling and conducting interviews, giving feedback and conducting reference checks)
- Manage employees’ onboarding (contract, visa application, processing teaching permits) and assisting in the induction process
- Provide support on Employee administration (visa renewal, leave request follow-up…)
- Consolidate HR reports and perform data input/extraction as requested
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and operating procedures
- Support engagement initiatives to promote a professional and enjoyable workplace
- Other duties, ad-hoc and special projects or initiatives as assigned
This position implies working on the 4 different campuses.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management, Law, Business or related disciplines
- Relevant experience in HR administration and recruitment. Previous experience in an educational environment is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in French and English
- Ability to multi-task
- Team player, proactive, and resourceful
- Customer oriented with strong working ethics
- Be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
Conditions:
- 39 hours per week
- Entitled to 5 weeks of annual leave per year
