Job Description - Human Resources Director

My client is a leading organization in the banking industry with established teams and businesses. They have 500+ headcounts in Hong Kong with large operations in Technology & Digitalization. They are looking for a Senior HR Leader to join the team and lead strategic HR initiatives build a future-ready workforce to cope with business expansion plans. They are a very stable organization with wide exposure to different projects.

Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of 10+ established HR professionals to oversee full spectrum of HR functions including Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, etc.
    • Engage with C-level and Functional Heads to understand business goals, and develop strategic HR plan around talents recruitment and retention
    • Devise and refine HR policies and procedures, monitor the enforcement, to ensure those are in compliance with statutory requirements
    • Formulation and evaluation of HR, Learning and Development programs, and ensure it is align with corporate objectives
    • Demonstrate leadership expertise in driving talent acquisition strategies and succession planning to secure top quality talents
    • Provide expert advice on manpower statistics to support management discussions and decisions
    • Manage annual budgets, staff cost and projects
    • Manage HR vendors in various areas

Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree from reputable universities majoring in Human Resources Management or Business Studies. Master Degree or MBA is highly preferred.
    • 15+ years of relevant experience gained in financial institutions, with at least 10 years at a managerial position
    • Demonstrated success in managing C-suite executives and building trusted partnerships at the highest levels
    • Strong stakeholder management skills to both internal and external parties
    • Comprehensive knowledge of local employment laws and the relevant statutory requirements
    • Proven leadership, proactive, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
    • Strong numeric sense and proficiency in MS Excel and HRIS
