  • You have more than 3 years’ experience working in business-to-business sales function (big and medium companies)
  • You have more than 5 years’ experience of working in a customer-focused service industry
  • You are a business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus person
  • You have experience of working in a business customer-focused industry in a sales or business development role
  • You have experience with managing a business through a pipeline/conversion funnel
  • You are able to cross-sell, up sell and propose/create new appealing services
  • You are able to communicate confidently and clearly to negotiate successful outcomes in a commercial context
  • You have ability to create, manage agile action plans and deliver short and long term results
  • You have strong personal alignment with the IKEA values
  • You have strong leadership capabilities and potential
  • You are fluent in spoken and written Cantonese, Chinese and English

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Actively drive acquisition of new business customers and build up long term relationships with key accounts in key segments (B2B, B2B2B, B2B2C).
  • Identify, propose and execute lead acquisition initiatives (participating in events, hosting events, warm-calling, cold-calling, partnership building, etc)
  • Track and assess conversion & ROI for the proposed lead acquisition initiatives
  • Lead negotiations in finalizing terms and pricing for RFPs and other Key Account deals
  • Lead the authoring of high quality and timely responses of RFPs, including collaborating with co-workers in other departments for a comprehensive and competitive bid package of product and services
  • Identifying and proposing appealing value proposition for business customers by supporting, developing or creating new services, and solutions
  • Responsible for managing the leads pipeline for key segments, measureing success rate, follow up and identifing improvement areas
  • Provide sales reports, market learning reports, etc
  • Actively build IKEA for Business co-workers B2B sales competences as coach, mentor or trainer
  • Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and to maximize impact

 

TOGETHER AS A TEAM

The function of this role is to proactively generate sales for IKEA for Business in HKMO through driving up the penetration rate, average ticket size, and customer loyalty of targeted business customer segments within HKMO
