Infrastructure Implementation Manager Electronic Trading

We are partnering with a leading global systematic trading firm seeking an Infrastructure Implementation Manager to help deliver and scale their electronic trading infrastructure as they expand their global trading footprint.

This is a hands-on role working closely with infrastructure, networking and trading teams to deliver new trading sites and connectivity across colocation and proximity hosting environments. The role is ideal for someone with a strong technical infrastructure background who has naturally moved into coordinating projects, managing stakeholders and driving delivery.

This is not a large team leadership role – the successful candidate will remain close to the technology and infrastructure, working directly with engineers, exchanges and vendors.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering new electronic trading infrastructure deployments
• Coordinating colocation builds and proximity trading environments
• Working with exchanges, vendors and brokers to establish market connectivity
• Managing infrastructure provisioning across datacentres and trading venues
• Partnering with networking, compute and infrastructure engineering teams
• Tracking delivery timelines, risks and milestones across multiple projects
• Acting as a key interface between engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Ensuring infrastructure is delivered to the performance standards required for electronic trading

• 5+ years’ experience in electronic trading infrastructure or financial technology
• Experience working with trading colocation environments
• Knowledge of exchange connectivity (market data / order entry)
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking and trading infrastructure
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects or coordinating technical deployments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment
