Investment Analyst - Equity Research

A globally recognized Investment Management firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to support the selection of high-conviction stocks and drive strong portfolio performance. In this role, you will develop deep expertise within a specific sector or industry, enabling informed judgments on company fundamentals and stock potential. The position is rooted in a core investment philosophy: specialized industry knowledge leads to superior investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform in-depth due diligence on companies and sectors through financial statement analysis, market data review, company visits, and ongoing research
* Deliver actionable stock insights and recommendations to Portfolio Managers, supported by clear rationale
* Lead bottom-up, fundamentals-driven research across your assigned sector coverage
* Build and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasts and valuation analyses
* Develop and sustain a strong understanding of global financial markets, instruments, and the firm's funds and investment strategies
* Stay current on industry trends within your sector coverage, as well as advances in quantitative financial techniques
* Partner and exchange ideas with colleagues across global teams

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum 3-5 years of total relevant experience with a verifiable, documented track record of strong stock selection performance (required for consideration)
* At least 2 years of relevant experience covering Asia Ex Japan equities as a buy-side or sell-side research analyst
* Highly motivated and confident self-starter; a calculated risk-taker comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proven ability to conduct thematic, in-depth research across a broad range of topics that can enhance the investment process
* CFA designation preferred
