Investment Associate

You will be a key member of the investment team, actively involved across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities to execution, portfolio management, and investor engagement. This position is ideal for a highly analytical and commercially minded investment professional seeking hands-on experience across private markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, screen, and evaluate investment opportunities across fund investments, direct investments, and co-investments.
2. Conduct comprehensive commercial, financial, operational, and market due diligence.
3. Perform industry research, market assessments, competitive analysis, and investment thesis development.
4. Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario assessments.
5. Prepare investment memorandums and recommendations for internal investment committees.
6. Support end-to-end transaction execution.
7. Coordinate with management teams, external advisors, legal counsel, and counterparties.
8. Assist in structuring transactions, negotiating key terms, and managing deal processes.
9. Monitor portfolio company and fund performance against investment objectives.
10. Support portfolio valuation exercises and ongoing risk assessments.
11. Assist with portfolio optimization and strategic value-creation initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
2. 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking or private equity.
3. Demonstrated experience in due diligence, financial analysis, valuation, and financial modelling.
4. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
5. Strong attention to detail and commercial judgment.
6. Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
7. Proactive approach to problem-solving.
