Investment Associate, Online Betting & Gambling

We are seeking a sharp and commercially minded Investment Research Associate to support strategic growth in the online betting sector, as the company transitions from a private entity to a publicly listed group with international operations. This role will focus on market intelligence, competitive analysis, and investment evaluation across global jurisdictions.

Your new role

• Conduct in-depth research on online betting markets, platforms, and regulatory environments across Asia, Europe, and North America
• Analyse industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in digital wagering and gaming
• Support investment due diligence for M&A, partnerships, and public listing readiness
• Prepare financial models, valuation assessments, and strategic reports for senior leadership
• Monitor performance of existing investments and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations
• Assist in preparing investor materials and presentations for stakeholders and board meetings

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Familiarity with online betting, gaming, or digital entertainment sectors preferred
• Experience in investment research, strategy, or corporate finance
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in Chinese; additional languages a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
