Job Description - Investment Counsellor, AVP-VP (5+ years experience), Private Bank

Your new company

We are a leading European private bank with a long-standing heritage in wealth management, offering bespoke investment solutions and high-touch advisory services to high-net-worth clients across global markets. Our culture values integrity, expertise, and a client-first mindset.

Your new role

  • Deliver tailored multi-asset investment advisory across equities, fixed income, funds, FX and alternative products to meet clients' wealth objectives.

  • Achieve individual revenue and activity targets, contributing to both advisory and transactional income through proactive portfolio reviews and investment ideas.

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to identify client needs, enhance wallet share, and drive client engagement through joint meetings.

  • Monitor market trends and portfolio risks, ensuring investment strategies remain aligned with clients' risk profiles and regulatory requirements.

  • Present market outlooks and investment themes in client meetings, events, and internal briefings with strong communication and presentation skills.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment advisory, portfolio counselling or wealth management within private banking or related financial institutions.

  • Strong multi-asset class knowledge, with proven ability to generate investment ideas and articulate market insights.

  • Proven track record of meeting revenue, advisory, or KPI targets, ideally with direct client-facing exposure.

  • Excellent communication skills, highly presentable, and confident in client-facing interactions.

  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory.
