Investment Counsellor / Insurance Specialist - Retail Banking

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Investment Counsellor / Insurance Specialist to join our client's expanding retail banking team based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will provide tailored investment and insurance solutions to a broad portfolio of retail clients, aligning with their financial goals and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional investment counselling and insurance advice to retail clients
• Assess clients’ financial objectives and match suitable wealth management solutions
• Conduct risk profiling, suitability assessments, and regular portfolio reviews
• Support the delivery of sales initiatives and campaigns within the branch
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, insurance products, and relevant regulations
• Ensure full compliance with internal guidelines, risk management policies, and industry regulations

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in investment advisory and/or insurance within retail banking
• Holder of relevant qualifications such as HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 and IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 & 5
• Sound knowledge of investment and insurance products, with a proven sales track record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Self-motivated, result-driven, and customer-focused individual
• Fluency in Cantonese and English; proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage
