Investment Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solid knowledge of investment product life cycle procedures, including execution, monitoring, enhancement and risk control.
2. Support the sales team and client service functions to deliver investment advisory solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
3. Monitor product performance and market trends to identify new opportunities, maintain competitive positioning, and drive growth.
4. Provide insights into consumer preferences and market requirements to inform product design and enhancement.

Core Experience Requirements:

1. Familiar with investment products with actuary qualification.
2. Strong knowledge of product issuers (e.g., investment banks, brokerages, structured product houses) and ability to interface effectively with them.
3. Proven experience in product due diligence , including assessing product risks, structures, fees and suitability.

Licensing Requirements:

1. Current holder ofType 1 (dealing in securities) ，SFC Type 4 (advising on securities) .
2. Type 9 (asset management) licenses and any of those Responsible Officer licenses will be an advantage.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 8 years of products experience , including at least 5 years of work experience in a foreign investment bank .

Required Competencies:

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese to explain complex product information to RM/Client.
2. Ability to analyze data, identify market trends, and devise strategies for product improvement.
3. Skill in interacting with customers to understand their needs and address concerns.
4. A strong grasp of the product’s technical aspects and functionality.
5. Understanding of sales processes, market dynamics and profitability.
