Our client, a globally recognized investment institution, is seeking a high-calibre Technology Portfolio Manager to join its expanding Group Investment Technology team. This 12-month renewable contract offers strategic exposure, cross-functional influence, and the opportunity to drive impactful technology initiatives across key investment domains.

About the Role:

As a Technology Portfolio Manager, you will serve as a bridge between business users and technology teams—identifying needs, proposing solutions, and overseeing delivery. You will lead from the front in shaping digital solutions that span across investment operations, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and smooth execution across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand technology requirements across various investment functions
• Propose scalable and effective solutions including application upgrades, automation, and AI-driven tools
• Set up and manage delivery frameworks for approved technology initiatives, working closely with technical teams and external vendors
• Act as a central technology point-of-contact, reducing the need for multiple application SMEs
• Coordinate regional delivery efforts with onshore and offshore teams (e.g., PRC for development, MY for support)
• Build trusted relationships with business teams to drive alignment and adoption

Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Strong background in investment technology within financial services
• Experience in solutioning and leading discussions with both business and IT stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage project delivery from initiation to execution
• Good understanding and experience with of investment platforms and tools
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Candidates with prior experience as an IT Head , Delivery Lead, or cross-functional Project Manager highly regarded
