Investment VP - MD ( Infrastructure )

Our client is a leading alternative asset manager focusing on private equity, real estate and infrastructure globally.

To expand their footprint overseas they are now looking to add a VP to MD level Investment proffessional to join their infra team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth research on overseas infrastructure and new-infrastructure sub-sectors; independently originate and screen investment opportunities.

2. Lead due-diligence processes, build detailed financial models, and assess investment value and risk.

3. Prepare comprehensive investment memos and actively drive deal execution, including negotiation, drafting and revising transaction documents, while coordinating internal and external resources to ensure successful closing.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree or above from a top-tier university in China or abroad.

2. Minimum 8-12 years of direct experience in overseas infrastructure equity investment, with proven ability to perform independent industry analysis, financial modeling and due diligence.

3. Familiar with leading overseas infrastructure investors and have a track record of cooperation or co-investment.

4. Strong insight into the landscape and trends of overseas infrastructure and new-infrastructure sectors; excellent commercial judgment, strategic thinking and resource-integration skills.

5. Solid knowledge of finance and accounting; professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA or ACCA are a plus.

6. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
