IT Analyst, Wealth Management, IT

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department, focusing on the analysis and implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of the securities, brokerage & wealth management business.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to securities and brokerage operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
3. Conduct gap analyses between current and future state business processes and technology solutions.
4. Prepare detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases that align with business goals.
5. Work with development managers and development team to design and review technical solutions to meet business requirements
6. Participate in project planning and management, including monitoring progress and reporting on project status to stakeholders.
7. Support UAT to ensure requirements are met, provide training and support on new systems and processes.
8. Develop user guides and documentation as needed.

Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science or related disciplines, Master Degree is highly preferred
2. 3- 5 years of experience in trading/banking system development
3. Development skills in Java and working with one of more Java frameworks
4. Understanding of securities trading, brokerage operations, fund, bond, structured products and financial regulations are preferred
5. Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping, and data analysis.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
9. Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
