Job Description - IT Manager, Infrastructure & Support
A leading asset manager seeks an IT infrastructure professional individual to deliver and manage end-user support. This role also requires driving and initiate projects on operational efficiency enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for end-user systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and meeting room equipment; troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution
Support server and infrastructure operations, including server room environment, hardware, storage, and backup systems; perform routine maintenance and assist with infrastructure upgrades
Monitor network performance and system stability; apply security patches, enforce IT policies, and support incident response activities
Manage IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, and disposal; coordinate with finance on billing and cost control
Work with the Head of Operations to support infrastructure and network improvements; assist in project delivery in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing; support infrastructure-related initiatives such as virtual desktop, data centre upgrades, and disaster recovery planning
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or operations support, preferably within financial services sector
Technical experience with:
Windows / Linux, Office 365
Active Directory, Exchange
Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
Cybersecurity practices
Strong problem-solving skills, with a practical and service-oriented approach
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
Fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese
Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CompTIA, CISSP) are an advantage
Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
