Job Description - IT security manager

IT Security Manager We are seeking an experienced IT Security Manager to lead and strengthen our cybersecurity incident response and organizational readiness. This role is critical in protecting our digital assets and ensuring effective coordination across IT and business units during security events.
Key Responsibilities

Incident Response Leadership

Develop, maintain, and continuously refine incident response playbooks aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Lead and coordinate security incident response activities across IT teams and business stakeholders.
Provide senior-level oversight of incident investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident reviews.

Cybersecurity Drills & Exercises

Plan and execute cybersecurity drills and exercises, including tabletop sessions and red/blue team simulations.
Assess organizational preparedness and produce actionable recommendations to improve response effectiveness.
Train staff on incident response protocols and cybersecurity best practices.

Executive Risk & Reporting

Establish, track, and manage executive-level risk metrics, including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
Deliver clear, concise reporting to senior management to support risk-based decision-making and governance oversight.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT security or cybersecurity management, with a strong focus on incident response.
Hands-on experience designing and leading incident response frameworks and simulations.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and business units.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity risk management, metrics, and reporting at an executive level.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
