Job Description - IT Support - Permanent Position

Our client is a leading global financial services organisation with a strong focus on technology, security, and operational excellence. They provide a fast-paced, professional environment with exposure to enterprise-scale IT systems and global users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 IT support to internal users via in-person, phone, email, and remote sessions
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using a ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow)
  • Support Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, operating systems, applications, and network access
  • Support enterprise applications including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools (e.g. Zoom, Webex)
  • Assist with user account administration (e.g. Active Directory / Entra ID, MFA tools such as DUO)
  • Perform IT asset management tasks, including audits, tracking, deployments, and decommissioning of devices
  • Support mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Intune or MobileIron
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for office moves, hardware refreshes, and restack activities
  • Ensure issues are escalated appropriately to L3 / engineering teams when required
  • Maintain accurate documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
  • Adhere to IT policies, security standards, and SLA requirements, especially in a regulated environment


Required Skills & Experience

  • 0-1 year of experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or Deskside Support
  • Basic hands-on experience supporting Windows OS and common end-user applications
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools
  • Understanding of ITIL-based support processes (incident, request, escalation)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional corporate environment
