The Team

You will join a high-performing engineering group responsible for delivering front-to-back technology solutions for the Private Wealth Management business across Asia and Australia. The team is committed to building modern, user-centric digital platforms and values craftsmanship, agile delivery and continuous improvement.

The Role

In this position, you will design, build and enhance applications using a modern web and service-oriented tech stack. You will contribute to architectural discussions, perform code reviews, improve system performance, and collaborate with colleagues across global locations. This is an opportunity to influence a large-scale platform while growing your engineering expertise.

The Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and the Spring framework
• Experience with event/message-driven architectures (e.g., MQ, Kafka)
• Hands-on background in OpenAPI, microservices, and caching technologies
• Exposure to document databases and high-volume data processing
• Ability to quickly understand and follow complex functional workflows
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD/CM, and agile methodologies
• Test-driven mindset, including use of Mock/MockServer for unit testing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-starter with strong ownership and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation (Playwright with JavaScript)
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)
• Interest in expanding expertise in the functional domain
