Java/Python Developer (Hong Kong)

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java/Python applications
2. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
3. Optimize system performance and ensure reliability in a fast-paced trading environment.
4. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhance existing functionalities.

Requirements

1. Good experience in Java/Pythondevelopment within financial services.
2. 1-5 years of relevant experience
3. Entrepreneurial spirit, personal and professional integrity with a strong desire to succeed
4. A team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
5. Programming skills in Java / Python etc.
6. Knowledge in Capital Markets/ Investment Banking or a particular asset class will be advantageous but not essential
7. Knowledge of financial data, financial instruments and financial technology will be advantageous but not essential
